People are plastic

People are plastic in a positive sense. Meaning they are flexible and able to grow. The way they want.

I first saw this in the Seth Godin’s interview, part of the Tools of Titans book. And it stuck with me! I completely agree with this. Almost everything is made not born. Anyone can do whatever they want and grow the way they want.

This makes a lot of people uncomfortable given it puts light on them. By default, our ego refuses to take responsibility. So it always pushes us to think that people are born with success. They have something in their genes that makes them successful. But reality is, we are all plastic.
