Small bets to achieve financial independence

Why do I keep building things?

I love building things. And part of why I love doing this is that I want to change the future. My future!

You can’t change your future, or anything, with overnight success. It’s small bricks, stacked one after the other. It’s challenging. It takes time. But it’s totally worth it.

Whenever I’m feeling tired of building things and experimenting, I read this quote:

Life can be much broader, once you discover one simple fact, and that is that everything around you that you call life was made up by people they were no smarter than you. And you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use. Once you learn that, you’ll never be the same again.

Steve Jobs

And I keep going.

Great post Ahmed. I just came across one of your previous platforms Creative Africa while surfing the internet, which led me here. Pls I would like to know what the platform was about and why doesn’t exist anymore, if you wouldn’t mind sharing. We can communicate via email. Thanks. Blessing from Nigeria

Hey, thank you for reaching out and for your awesome question.

Due to your question, I discovered I didn’t write down why I killed the project :(. Thank you for letting me know.

Given I’m writing daily, I’ll be writing about this in the next post (going in approx 9h from now). I’ll make sure to include all details.

I’ll post a link to the post here and send it to you by email 🙂
