Half marathon

I always had a love-hate relationship with running. I used to run a few kilometers here and there, but I feel tired quickly. My longest run was a 10K run that felt like hell btw.

So, at the end of 2022, I decided to start running every day. I wanted to work on this relationship and I also felt I need to engage in physical activity.

When I started, I was not looking for a crazy running pace or some world records to aim for, I was just challenging myself to break some mental barriers.

Within a month, I was able to run a half-marathon. Yes, I felt tired afterward. But it was worth it.

I confess I wasn’t ready for that, and I pushed myself a little too early. But what a mental barrier to break!

So, now back to taking things slowly and actually improving my running.

I’m not posting things as they happen, so this post will likely be scheduled in the future. For future reference, I’ve done my first half-marathon on the 26th of January 2023.

Yay, I’m so excited for you, what an accomplishment! A half can seem daunting at first, but I’m glad you pushed yourself do try it before you thought you “were ready.”

Next up trail running? I hear the Atlas Mountains are nice for that 🙂

      Thanks Daryl!

I should definitely try trail running! Only problem is I don’t live near a trail :/
